BORN 4th MAY 1986 - TAKEN 28th FEBRUARY 2005

Kylee Dibble was just 18 years of age when someone brutally murdered her in her own flat in Barton Hill, Bristol, before setting her and her her flat on fire.
On the morning of 28th February 2005, fire services were called to a fourth floor flat on fire at approximately 8:30am, on gaining access to the flat, fire services found the body of a young woman who initially was believed to have died in the fire.
After post-mortem tests it was revealed the poor woman had indeed been beaten to death then set on fire. She suffered horrific head injuries.
How senseless can anyone be, to murder someone with your bare hands then set fire to the place to destroy any evidence?
I remember the morning very clearly when the news broke. I live in the small community of Barton Hill and everyone in the area were extremely shocked.
Kylee was originally from Withywood in Bristol and had 4 brothers and sisters then moved to Barton Hill just weeks before her passing. Her Mum made countless, tearful appeals on tv and on crimewatch but it seemed as though although 10 people had been arrested and let go, no one would ever be found responsible for this terrible act, especially when quite recently the police had announced that they were scaling down their operation and leaving only one officer assigned to the case.
HOWEVER.....BREAKTHROUGH......today (Wednesday 2nd May 2007) after 2 long years it had been revealed that a man aged 23 had now been CHARGED with Kylee's murder and has now been remanded in custody today.
This is brilliant news for her family, I don't know how her Mother has got through this, but she is an incredibly strong woman. She didn't even until now, know who was responsible for ending her first child's life so early and brutally, and didn't even know WHY?
REST IN PEACE KYLEE, THINKING OF YOU, HOPEFULLY JUSTICE WILL BE DONE FOR YOU, YOU CAN REST NOW.
